Multiple Week Event to promote exercise and support frontline carers, charities and health initiatives
London, UK, April 2020 – As the world continues to adjust to more time indoors, people are trying out new and different ways to stay healthy.
To support that initiative, beginning April 30th, Perp Games and popular YouTube personality, Polish Paul are delighted to reveal they will be celebrating fitness in VR across all their networks and social media channels.
Hear from your favourite content creators with unique, themed content on the Perp Games YouTube channel over the next few weeks, including a weekly show with Polish Paul and Perp Games talking about each game featured during the campaign.
Perp Games will also be working with a different charity each week with a focus on supporting frontline staff during this crisis.
Perp Games have published a number of VR titles that can help with fitness in an effort to ensure it comes to the forefront in Virtual Reality. This event will also promote many different VR exercise applications from various developers and publishers.
At an increased time of uncertainty, it’s never been more important to unite and come together to stay active and Perp Games want to provide a platform to show what an important role Virtual Reality has to play in face of the challenges that lie ahead.
Beginning on April 30th with BoxVR from FitXR, Perp Games will release weekly videos with Polish Paul, discussing the health properties of each game, while offering thoughts on some of the challenges and concerns being faced by keyworkers during a time of crisis.
Paul Morytko is uniquely positioned to be an ambassador for this event, best known as the PlayStation VR YouTube Personality Polish Paul, but also because of his work as a careworker on the frontlines during this Coronavirus outbreak.
Perp Games will also be working with other partners and developers, providing unique content, offering store discounts, and opening competitions up to gamers all over the world.
Aldric Chang, CEO of Mixed Realms says “Covid 19 may have grounded your outdoor plans, but there’s no reason to stop you from keeping fit by performing some serious cyber ninja skills in Sairento PSVR”
Mickey Torode at Perp Games, is excited to see the event take off, and says “We are very excited to be joined by a front-line hero, Care Worker, and top VR You Tuber, Polish Paul as we take a look at how VR games can help people stay fit during the lockdowns. Paul will offer his unique sense of humour, thoughts and expert analysis on both the VR games and how the COVID19 pandemic is affecting him as a key worker.”
Other games due to be included in the Perp Games Fitness in VR Festival include Creed: Rise to Glory, Sairento, and Sprint Vector. More will be announced in the coming weeks.
