Witch the Showdown drops new demo ahead of Steam Next Fest, bringing new playable character, turn-based mode, and unveiling early access launch later this year
High-difficulty, parry-action boss battler makes its Steam Next Fest debut early! Play as new character Neon for a limited time and take on turn-based mode. CitalesGames will also be unleashing the title into Early Access on Steam later this year on PC

Parry action deckbuilder from CitalesGames and the team here at Perp Games, Witch the Showdown, makes its Steam Next Fest debut ahead of the festival today with two fresh content additions.
Following the successful launch of its demo on Steam earlier this year, CitalesGames has further implemented a new turn-based gameplay mode in addition to its original, fast-paced combat system. This mode slows the pace to allow players of all ability levels to learn the ropes, cards, and timings of each enemy attack.
Jump back into the fight and play as new character, Neon, for a limited time. Get to know the newest Witch in the championship by battling her through tournaments and unlocking the new dedicated Manga.
For those yet to take on the championship, Witch the Showdown offers several modes of parry-action play against boss-level rivals. Take on Duel Mode, allowing you jump straight into the action whilst you master the cards, their abilities, and finesse flawless parries with pre-built decks. Or dive into Tournament Mode where you will face a roster of relentless rivals. Hand-pick your deck to match your playstyle, earn credits to unlock new cards and relics upon each victory, and fight your way to the top.
CitalesGames will also be bringing its fast-paced action deckbuilder into Early Access on Steam later this year, ahead of its full launch across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in 2027. The full version will feature additionalplayable characters, rivals, and cards.
Witch the Showdown has already amassed positive reviews on Steam and will feature in the Best Indie Games showcase on June 2nd from 4pm BST.
