Players are beckoned into the first-person, psychological horror that places you in a terrifying nightmare tied to your family’s tragic past. This emotionally dark story will trap you, Vera, between dreams and memories where the lines of reality will begin to blur. Your home, a typical place of peace and familiarity, will soon feel vastly different when you piece together what truly happened, all whilst avoiding an ominous entity…
The sound of survival
Every sound matters in Unsealed: The Mare and headphones are a must for those who enjoy a disturbingly immersive, sinister experience. Paying attention to subtle audio cues can help you track the enemy, find hidden objects, and survive. Flickering lights and breaking bulbs are nothing to do with faulty wiring. They are an additional clue to the Mare’s location and proximity, leaving you to decide whether to run, hide, or check your own house for anything… unexplainable.
Phantom puzzling
Sealed doors will need to be unlocked by completing puzzles and finding hidden objects to destroy, and utilising the “Focus Memory” mechanic will allow you to venture into new areas and memories. The Mare won’t make your journey easy, as the further you progress, the more aggressive she gets.
Eerie encounters
Complete Three Chapters on either Stalked Mode; a slightly more forgiving experience or Hunted Mode; recommended if you don’t value your life! Every mistake will have a consequence, so patience, making smart decisions, and being aware of your surroundings is paramount to your survival. Your tools, including your flashlight, lighter, bulbs, and camera, are vital for survival, so use them wisely.
Immersion perversion
Featuring a deep lore, players can piece together the story by finding and reading sticky notes that are placed around the home along with scrawled, mad ramblings of unknown origin.
